I had the pleasure of working with The Body Agency Collective for my MCH CoE Fellowship during the Spring 2026 semester. The Body Agency is a global women’s health organization dedicated to empowering girls and women through honest conversations about gender inequity, reproductive health, and mental well‑being. Through its media advocacy, the Sex, Body & Soul podcast, and its signature dignity kits, the organization works to destigmatize sensitive health topics and expand access to essential information. Its nonprofit arm, The Body Agency Collective (TBAC), advances this mission even further by focusing on gender responsive healthcare access, economic empowerment, and climate‑conscious solutions-creating a holistic, transformative approach to improving the lives of women and girls worldwide.
The Body Agency Collective provided me with a profoundly human experience, one that reshaped how I understand women’s health and what it truly means to fight for equity. Working with TBAC and supporting their partnership with Kasha placed me face‑to‑face with the realities women and girls navigate every day just to access care. My main project designing a funding landscape for Kasha’s HIV last‑mile delivery model quickly became more than a technical assignment. And contributing to two major grant proposals taught me how to turn these lived realities into narratives that move funders to act. I learned that strong global health writing is not just about evidence it is about honoring the people behind the evidence. It is about showing why a model built on trust, community agents, discreet delivery, and women‑centered design is not only innovative, but essential.
This fellowship grounded me. It taught me that global health is not only about systems, it is about people navigating fear, hope, resilience, and survival. It strengthened my resolve to build a world where no woman or girl is left behind because of where she lives, what she earns, or what she fears others might think. I leave this experience more certain than ever that health equity is not just a goal-it is a responsibility I intend to carry forward.
