Congratulations MCH Graduate Awardees!

It is with great pride that I share that our MCH students have won several highly competitive school awards - a true testament to our capable and passionate students. 
 
Congratulations Maria Wallace for receiving the PCH Chair Award: The PCH Chair Award recognizes the most outstanding student citizen in the MPH program in PCH. 
 
Congratulations Alyssa Baer for receiving the Donald Strong Excellence in Community Health Award: This award recognizes a student’s impactful commitment to community health through involvement in community-engaged research, implementation of interventions to benefit a specific community, engagement with and/or building community capacity to improve health, leadership, volunteerism/service, or advocacy on behalf of a defined community. 
 
Congratulations Cammie Dopke, Lavinia Sims, Andy Blaisdell, Robin Fern, and Leslie-Ann Henry for receiving the Caroline Sparks Policy & Practice Impact Award. This award recognizes a student/group of students whose CE project demonstrates a greater likelihood of having an impact on public health policy or practice at local, state, and/or organizational levels. 
 
Congratulations Anisa Amiji, Belicia Badibanga, Grace Dease, Corina Galindo, Addison Montgomery, Bailey Newton, and Maria Wallace for receiving the Maternal and Child Health CE Award for their individual and collective work on South Asian Maternal and Women's Health.
 
Congrats again to our spring/summer graduates. Without a doubt, women, children and families around the world will benefit from our newest graduates as they join the MCH workforce!
