Girl Rising
Girl Rising is a global nonprofit that uses the power of storytelling, education, and community engagement to advance gender equality and improve opportunities for girls around the world. Through evidence-based programming, Girl Rising equips adolescents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about their health, education, and futures. The George Washington University has served as Girl Rising's lead evaluation partner, working alongside local implementing organizations to design rigorous monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks, assess program effectiveness, and generate evidence that informs program improvement and scale.
