Center Role: Center of Excellence Graduate Student Assistant
I Chose GW Because: I chose GW because it stands out as one of the few institutions with a Center of Excellence. This center equips students with an amazing advantage in research and comprehensive training, setting the stage for them to become future leaders in the field of Maternal and Child Health. The GW Maternal and Child Health program thoroughly explores every facet of this field, ranging from policy initiatives to grassroots community projects. My personal passion for maternal health and infant mortality has been a driving force since high school, and I am genuinely convinced that GW is the ideal place to nurture and explore that dedication.
Bragging Rights: I currently have one publication out through Emory University and am working to publish my second.
Hobbies/Personal Interests: I love to bike around the city and take care of my plants!
People Might Be Surprised to Know That: I was in the color guard for two years in high school.
