Carolyn and Cara HRSA announcement

The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, in partnership with the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), was awarded nearly $1.5 million through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to strengthen the public health workforce. This funding will support ten students with full scholarships, pursuing a Masters of Public Health (MPH) at Milken Institute SPH.

We are incredibly excited to announce that two of those recipients are from our program, Maternal and Child Health, Cara Dufresne and Carolyn Brown-Kaiser. Congratulations!!!
