Second year MPH student Rachael Bailey had her Op-Ed published on the GW Hatchet about the importance of creating a supportive and comfortable learning environment for students with disabilities at GWU. As a deaf student, she feels that the rhetoric around accommodations for students with disabilities needs to change, which includes better dismantling barriers and raising awareness among faculty.
